October drop!!!

All of these specimens are real, ethically sourced, and pinned by me. For each piece, I've turned regular picture frames into shadow boxes big enough to hold the bugs (lots of cutting glass, sawing, gluing, sealing, gold leafing, making my own backings, adding hangers, etc.). I spent weeks on this collection and I am so proud of the quality of these frames.

I’ve also finally started making molds of frames I've already extended and casting my own! They are SO much more durable this way. Hopefully by the end of next month I will have gold shadow boxes available online for anyone who wants to make their own art pieces.
